P.C.Y.C Garden Make Over

In December 2007 the Dazzlers joined forces with Bunnings to provide assistance to the Mount Druitt P.C.Y.C.
The project not only revamped a previously unloved garden area, but also established a large vegetable patch to assist local children in developing skills in the growth and preparation of healthy foods.
The Dazzlers would like to thank the Team at Bunnings Minchinbury for their assistance and support throughout this project.

Care For Kids Race (CFK)

The Care For Kids Race (CFK) was the first Dazzler Community Involvement Project.
This Race was held on the 3rd of May 2004 and $1200 was raised to be donated to the Royal Brisbane Children’s Hospital.
The money was raised by way of people sponsoring their favourite Dazzler in a race against a professional Townsville runner (Arthur Gilboy).
There was heavy sponsorship towards an Arthur win; however as per usual the boys rose to the occasion and another Dazzler victory went into the record books.
A big thanks to all the Dazzler WAG’S who helped out with the fundraising and catering on the day.

Dollar Dazzler Community Involvement Policy

The Dollar Dazzlers Group of Sporting Clubs are committed to supporting community programs and initiatives in our local area/s.

We aim to establish a connection between our organisation and our local communities that provides benefit to the community and also assist in our goal of continuing to represent the game of cricket in the best manner possible.

All Team Members are expected to take part or contribute in any initiatives that the Club may choose to support.

There are three primary objectives or our Community Involvement Policy:
	To demonstrate our commitment to the local communities in which we play / operate
	To live our principal of representing the game of cricket in a positive light.
	To enhance our Team Branding and reputation

The Dazzlers main aim is to support community groups or facilitates that need some additional man power to get projects completed, however other fund raising efforts can be supported where deemed suitable by the Officers of the Club.
Our preference is to provide assistance or support to Junior Community Groups or Clubs who are dedicated to the development of junior minds and talent.

The Dazzlers will not support the following:
	Environmentally harmful activities
	Political parties or organisations
	Religious organisations or religious purposes
	Activities that are harmful to animals
	Direct contributions to capital projects (building funds)
