The Dollar Dazzlers Group of Sporting Clubs are committed
to supporting Sun Safe practices and initiatives.
Our commitment to you:
We will provide you with appropriate
shade structures at campsites, games and practice sessions.
We will provide sports or cricket style caps for
batting in
We will provide Cricket style fielding hats or large
brim surf hats for long days in the field.
Sunscreen will be provided, but we appreciate players
supplying their own where possible.
All Team Members are expected to take their personal
Sun Safety very seriously.
Our Expectation of Team
Members is:
To ensure personal sun safety is part
of their pre game routine.
Dazzler branded headwear (PPE) to be on at all times
– it is unacceptable to play or participate in
any way with out headwear of some type.
Sunscreen to be reapplied at any breaks in play.
Similar approach taken towards any campsite activities
during carnivals.
All players to be aware of the practices of others
to ensure all players are compliant to all parts of
this policy.
Any Team member who disregards their own Sun Safety
or fails to assist in the Safety of others will face
disciplinary action from the Officers of the Club and
may face exclusion from a carnival.
Consistent poor behaviour or compliance to this policy
will result the Team Member concerned being terminated
from the club.
The Team will, from time to time, issue other means of sun
care or sun protection in Team branded format to assist with
Sun Care and to maintain overall awareness of our Sun Smart
policies and procedures.
